ASHA Awards
The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association has presented numerous awards over the last 70 years to recognize the contributions of individuals and groups to the professions of speech-language pathology, audiology, and speech and hearing science.

Each year, the Committee on Honors seeks nominations for the following ASHA Awards:

- Fellowship of the Association
- Dorothy Dreyer Award for Volunteerism
- Distinguished Contributions Award for Non-ASHA Members
- Certificate of Recognition for Outstanding Contributions in Clinical Achievement
- Certificate of Recognition for Outstanding Contributions in International Achievement
- Certificate of Recognition for Outstanding Contributions in Preschool-Grade 12 Education Settings
- Certificate of Recognition for Special Contributions in Higher Education
- Certificate of Recognition for Special Contributions in Multicultural Affairs
- Early Career Contributions in Research Award
- Outstanding Service Award
2026 Nominations Schedule and Submission Process
The Awards Nominations Center will open January 9, 2026, and close March 31, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. Eastern time.
The Committee on Honors will meet in late June to review nominations and select this year's recipients.
Award recipients will be notified in mid-July.
Recipients will be honored at the Award Ceremony during the 2026 Annual Convention.
How Do I Submit a Nomination?
The application period for submitting a nomination for an ASHA Award opens January 9, 2026, and closes at 3:00 p.m. Eastern time, March 31, 2026.
