ASHA Approved Continuing Education Provider Status
The ASHA Continuing Education Board (CEB) reviews and approves eligible organizations as ASHA Approved Continuing Education (CE) Providers.
ASHA Approved CE Providers plan, conduct, evaluate, and continuously improve their continuing education (CE) courses using the standards and requirements established by the ASHA Continuing Education Board (CEB). The CEB monitors adherence to the standards through initial approval, ongoing review of Providers' courses, and a formal 5-year review process.
ASHA's requirements [PDF] for Approved CE Provider status are based on the 2005 Criteria and Guidelines for Quality Continuing Education and Training Programs: the CEU and Other Measurement Units established by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET).
