SIG Affiliate Giveaway

Are you ready to explore a new professional interest? Each of ASHA's Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are giving away two complimentary affiliations (a $45 value each).

SIGs are communities centered around areas of professional practice within the discipline of communication sciences and disorders (CSD). SIGs create a dedicated space for ASHA and NSSLHA members to explore their specific interests, share focused resources, and network and collaborate with colleagues.

Who can enter the giveaway?

Any ASHA Member, Assistant, or International Affiliate who is not currently affiliated with any SIG. Entries will be accepted between 8:00 a.m., ET, August 1, 2024, and 11:45 p.m., ET, August 16, 2024.

No purchase necessary. One entry form per person. Participants will be entered into the drawing for any SIGs selected on the entry form. If an individual wins affiliation for one of the SIGs, they will not be eligible to win a second complimentary affiliation.

The following SIGs have established additional criteria to be eligible to win:

SIG 6, Hearing and Balance Sciences: Research and Clinical Applications	Both affiliations will be awarded to audiologists
SIG 8, Public Health Audiology	One affiliation will be awarded to an audiologist One affiliation will be awarded to any eligible entrant
SIG 10, Issues in Higher Education	One affiliation will be awarded to an audiologist One affiliation will be awarded to a SLP
SIG 18, Telepractice	One affiliation will be awarded to an audiologist One affiliation will be awarded to any eligible entrant
SIG 19, Speech Science	One affiliation will be awarded to an audiologist One affiliation will be awarded to a SLP

How will ASHA select the winner?

ASHA will randomly select two winners per SIG on August 19, 2024, and will notify the winners via email.

The complimentary affiliation will begin in September 2024 and end in December 2025. Individuals may choose to pay to renew their affiliation for 2026 if they desire.
