Office of Inspector General Reports

The Office of Inspector General (OIG) is required by law to protect the integrity of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) programs, and the beneficiaries they serve. The OIG's duties include conducting audits, investigations and inspections and provide reports and recommendations to the Secretary of HHS. The OIG completed investigations of school-based Medicaid claims in 18 states from November 2001 through June 2005. A partial list is shown below.
