Medicaid Coverage Policies
Audiology
Audiology is recognized as a covered service under the Medicaid program. The federal government establishes broad guidelines and each state then administers its own program and establishes its own income eligibility standards; type, amount, duration and scope of services covered, and payment rates with review and approval by the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
