COVID-19 Resources

National Joint Committee for the Communication Needs of Persons with Severe Disabilities (NJC)

The National Joint Committee for the Communication Needs of Persons With Severe Disabilities (NJC) expresses our support for access to communication, communication-related services, and all other therapeutic/medical assessments/interventions for persons with disabilities during the current global COVID-19 pandemic. Our group recognizes the rights of all individuals to communication as stated in the NJC’s Communication Bill of Rights and has created the resource, Communication Bill of Rights: Guiding Services for People With Severe Disabilities in the Context of COVID-19 and Systemic Racism to assist in the care of individuals during this time. Below are COVID-19 resources from NJC member organizations and related groups to guide providers and others interested in the care of individuals with disabilities.
