ASHA-PAHO/WHO: Dominican Republic Project
Specific Objective: In the Dominican Republic, ASHA provides technical assistance to the Ministry of Health, National Health Services, and key health institutions to strengthen service providers’ knowledge and skills and advance care in speech, language, swallowing, and hearing.
Photos from the July 20–24, 2026 PAHO/WHO trip to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, conducted in collaboration with ASHA. The mission brought together key stakeholders to support the development of a roadmap for strengthening speech, language, hearing, and rehabilitation services in the Dominican Republic.
