Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) Praxis Exam testing has resumed through the Educational Testing Service (ETS) Praxis at Home online system. ETS and ProctorU, a world leader in live remote proctoring have partnered to help our community.
Audiology and SLP Praxis exam candidates for the Praxis at Home can register online or by phone at 800-772-9476. Testing will be available between 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. Pacific Time, seven days a week. The Praxis at Home option is currently available and may be extended by ETS as needed.
Test centers are beginning to reopen at limited capacity. To assist testing candidates, ETS has announced that there will be no testing windows for the Praxis at Home option, which means Audiology and SLP Praxis exams will be available online any day of the week. In-person testing will continue to follow the 2-week testing window. Consult ETS COVID-19 Praxis Testing for more information and test center procedures.
Register directly with ETS for the test date and location that best meets your needs. It is recommended that students take the exam during the final year. The exam is outcome based and depends on the student being able to engage in clinical decision-making.
*All test takers are encouraged to take the Praxis Audiology (5343) test. ASHA will continue to accept a passing score on the Praxis test (both the 5342 and 0342 test codes) if this version is required by your state’s licensing agency.
