Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Are you ready?
Take part in the political process by exercising your right to vote! Across the country, state, and federal lawmakers are campaigning to represent you in 2027.
Here’s what you need to know.
If you haven’t already, make sure you check your voter registration status. Take time to research your candidates by gathering information from reputable sources to determine who represents your personal and professional interests. Make a plan for voting in your primary and in the November general election by checking the voting process and finding your polling place. Those with busy schedules or travel plans should plan ahead by requesting an absentee or mail-in ballot, or by voting in-person early. Keep in mind those requests and mail dates have deadlines earlier than November 3 and vary from state to state.
The Campus Vote Project works with universities, community colleges, faculty, students, and election officials to reduce barriers to student voting and help empower students with the information they need to register and vote.
By voting, you have a say in how the U.S. government is run. Take advantage of your power to create change for your patients, clients, students, and your practice. Together, ASHA members account for more than 247,000 votes across the country!
