Christina Bradburn, PhD, CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist

Christina works as a public school speech-language pathologist, educational diagnostician, and behavior consultant in Indiana. Along with currently pursuing her PhD in special education with a focus in communication sciences from Texas Woman’s University, she is a national seminar leader for the Bureau of Education and Research, speaking on the topic of integrating speech and language interventions into classrooms and curriculum using a workload approach. She is the past chair of the ASHA School Issues Advisory Board as the representative from the ASHA Leadership Development Program. She has been part of the ASHA Leadership Mentoring program since 2018. Her research interests include classroom-based intervention in the schools, classroom teacher impact on treatment effectiveness, and using flexible service delivery models to meet student needs.

Stacey is an associate director of ASHA's School Services in Speech-Language Pathology team. She serves as ex officio to ASHA's Special Interest Group 1 Language Learning and Education and co-chair of the National Coalition on Personnel Shortages in Special Education and Related Services. Stacey provides technical assistance to ASHA staff, ASHA members, and consumers regarding the practice of speech-language pathology in the school setting. Prior to coming to ASHA in 2015, Stacey worked in pediatric private practice and school settings in California, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Kansas.

Aruna Hari Prasad, MA, CCC-SLP

Aruna is an Associate Director of School Services at ASHA in Rockville, Maryland. She consults with school-based SLPs both nationally and internationally and provides technical assistance and guidance to members. She develops and maintains school-based resources and assists with coordinating professional development programs, including the annual ASHA Schools Connect conference. In addition to working at ASHA, Aruna maintains a private practice serving school-age children in the Montgomery County Maryland, area.

Lissa Power-deFur, PhD, CCC-SLP, BCS-CL

Lissa has served at Longwood University for many years, serving as the first program director and department chair as well as interim dean of the College of Education, Health, and Human Services. Previously, she worked at the Virginia Department of Education, where she served as a director in the Office of Special Education and Student Services. Lissa has served as an active volunteer throughout her career, with volunteer leadership in ASHA and the Speech-Language-Hearing Association of Virginia (SHAV). Her work includes service as ASHA's Vice President of Ethics and Professional Issues in Speech-Language Pathology (2014–16), Council on Academic Accreditation site visitor, SHAV President and Board member, and various other ASHA and SHAV committees and boards. She regularly writes and presents in the areas of ethics, special education, educational standards, and speech sound disorders. She co-wrote Speech-Language Pathologists as Expert Witnesses, published by ASHA Press, with Dr. Brenda Seal. She has received teaching, leadership, and service awards from Longwood University and from various professional organizations.

Tiffany is ASHA's Senior Director of School Services. Previously, she was the Program Manager of the Speech-Language and Hearing Department for the District of Columbia Public Schools and Area Coordinator for a national contractual company. Tiffany has experience working in public and non-public schools as well as pediatric & geriatric medical settings. Her expertise areas include: medically complex students, cultural responsiveness, school administration, and service delivery. Tiffany serves as the ex officio to ASHA’s School Issues Advisory Board (SIAB) and the National Joint Committee on Learning Disabilities (NJCLD)
