ASHA’s School Issues Advisory Board's (SIAB) Regional Engagement Sessions

Sharing Solutions. Strengthening Practice. Shaping the Future.

School SLPs and SLPAs continue to navigate complex challenges related to staffing shortages, workload demands, service delivery, and the evolving needs of students. While these challenges are not new, innovative strategies and promising practices are emerging in schools and districts across the country.

ASHA's School Issues Advisory Board (SIAB) invites you to join colleagues from your region for a series of interactive Regional Engagement Sessions focused on sharing ideas, exploring solutions, and learning from the experiences of practitioners who are doing this work every day.

Purpose of Regional Engagement Sessions

These conversations are designed to bring school-based SLPs and SLPAs together to exchange practical strategies, highlight approaches that are making a difference, and identify opportunities that can help strengthen and sustain the profession. Your insights and experiences will help inform future ASHA resources, initiatives, and advocacy efforts on behalf of school-based practitioners.

Participants will engage in collaborative conversations focused on:

  • Service Delivery Strategies
  • Recruitment and Retention of School SLPs and SLPAs
