ASHA Schools Learning Exchange: Empowered Service Delivery for SLPs

This one-day, in-person workshop is designed to meet you, a school-based SLP in the early years of your career, exactly where you are.

You’ll work with peers and thought leaders to practice using decision-making frameworks, cultivate meaningful relationships, and discuss how to respond to real-world clinical and ethical challenges. The goal? Leave feeling confident in making high-stakes decisions related to:

navigating IEP systems,
service delivery models,
scheduling,
eligibility, and
when to reduce or dismiss services.

The day will feature highly interactive group learning, grounded in lived experiences in schools, giving you space to problem-solve, reflect, and build confidence.

Leave with concrete strategies, tools, and resources to apply right away in the coming school year. And you'll also earn ASHA CEUs/professional development hours!

Who Should Attend?

If you are an SLP who works in schools and has been in the field for 5 or fewer years, this event is definitely for you! SLPs who have been working in schools for longer (or who are thinking about moving to a school setting) are also welcome.
