Description of Opportunity:
The Early Childhood Member Advisory Group will advise ASHA on issues affecting speech-language pathology practice in early childhood environments. The group will also explore challenges and opportunities related to the transition between early intervention and school-based services.
Members will share perspectives on:
- Practice and workload challenges in early childhood settings
- EI-to-preschool transitions
- Role clarity and supervision for SLPAs
- Professional preparation and ongoing support needs
- Resources, advocacy, and guidance ASHA can provide to better support early childhood practitioners

Experience Required:
ASHA is seeking SLPs and SLPAs who:
- Work or have recent experience in early childhood settings or providing Part C extended services in the United States.
- ASHA Certified Members or ASHA Certified SLPAs
- Bring interest in shaping ASHA resources and supports
- Engage in timely, collaborative discussion and reflective feedback
