Liaisons with the Vice President for Audiology Practice
The mission of the Joint Committee on Infant Hearing (JCIH) is to address issues that are important to the early identification, intervention, and follow-up care of infants and young children with hearing loss.
Typically 3 year terms, but often extended for continuity if JCIH is currently involved in writing a document or working on a presentation/publication.
One face-to-face meeting annually, possible second meeting as needed. The face to face meeting is typically held the Saturday before the start of the EHDI annual conference.
JCIH works in subcommittees and online. Much of the work is electronic.
Pediatric audiology with at least 5–10 years of experience.
