Description of Opportunity:
The 2027 Convention Topic Chairs are in search of ASHA members, NSSLHA members, and affiliate members who are willing to serve as reviewers for proposals submitted to specific topic areas in the ASHA Call for Papers. Selected committee members will be required to review proposals, work with the Topic Chairs to develop the Convention Program, contribute to the development of the invited sessions, and identify key presenters. Reliable, detail-oriented volunteers who are willing to commit during peak review times (April 22 - May 12, 2027) are encouraged to submit their names for consideration in the area of their expertise. Topic Chairs make independent decisions on building their committees and often seek specific skill sets.

If you are selected as a reviewer, you will also be required to participate in conference calls as scheduled by the Topic Chair to review the goals and objectives of the Convention Program and the specifics of the review process.
The review period will open on April 22 and close on May 12.
Experience Required:
Ability to objectively review proposals and assess whether the proposal should be accepted into the Convention program.
