ASHA Resolution Form

Do you have an idea/issue you would like ASHA to consider? Are there policies you think ASHA should implement or change?

If your answer is yes, you can submit a resolution to the ASHA Board of Directors (BOD). As a result of the change in ASHA's governance structure and process, resolutions may now be submitted by individual members of the Association.

Members can submit resolutions for BOD consideration by using this Web-based resolution form. Members are asked to include contact information, an abstract, the Resolved statement(s), and the Rationale. Resolutions submitted via this online form will be delivered to the Association Governance Operations Team (AGOT) staff. Based on the content of the resolution, AGOT will forward the resolution to the National Office staff member/unit that has the most information related to the resolution for development of the budget section, if needed. Members submitting a resolution will be contacted prior to submission of the resolution to an internal review team comprised of representatives from editorial services, budget, information services, planning, and the appropriate chief staff officer. After adjustments resulting from the review process have been made, the final resolution will be submitted to the BOD for consideration.
