ASHA's Gift to the Grad May 1–August 31
The Gift to the Grad is a special ASHA acknowledgement upon your recent graduation. We hope to assist you as you prepare for your career by easing the financial burden that most young professionals experience. Graduates who apply for ASHA membership and certification between May 1 and August 31, 2013, receive membership benefits and services through December 31, 2014—which means you'll receive up to 20 months of membership for the price of 12. 2013 MSLP Award Application Period Now Open
Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) students: Are you interested in becoming a leader in the professions? You may be a perfect candidate for the Minority Student Leadership Program, which was designed to recruit and retain racial/ethnic minorities historically under-represented in CSD and to provide focused educational programming and activities to build and enhance leadership skills, an understanding of association governance and operations, and an opportunity to interact with leaders in audiology, speech-language pathology, and speech, language, and hearing sciences. You may be a perfect candidate for the Students Preparing for Academic and Research Careers (SPARC) Award, which was developed to foster upper-class undergraduate, masters CSD, and audiology clinical doctoral (AuD) student interest in the pursuit of PhD education and careers in academia to sustain a PhD pipeline within the professions.
