ASHA's Gift to the Grad (GTTG) Program

Valuable Information for Master's and Doctoral Grads

The GTTG is a special ASHA acknowledgement upon your recent graduation. We hope to assist you as you prepare for your career by easing the financial burden that most young professionals experience. Graduates who apply for ASHA membership and certification between May 1 and August 31, 2014, receive membership benefits and services through December 31, 2015—which means you'll receive up to 20 months of membership for the price of 12.

The program is available to current graduates and recent graduates. Who's eligible to take advantage?

NSSLHA Member – 2 Consecutive Years

• Eligible for the Conversion Discount
• Eligible for the Gift to the Grad
• Gift the the Grad cost: $286
• Savings: $225
• *2013 graduates must submit their membership and certification application by August 31, 2014, to recieve the benefits.
• *2014 graduates have until August 31, 2015, to submit their membership and certification application and recieve their benefits.

NSSLHA Member – 1 Year or Non-NSSLHA Member

• Not eligible for the Conversion Discount
• Eligible for the Gift to the Grad
• Must apply within one year of graduation
• Gift to the Grad cost: $461
• Savings: $50

All Other Applicants

• Not eligible for the Conversion Discount
• Eligible for the Gift to the Grad
• Gift to the Grad cost: $511

Things to Remember

*The ASHA Membership and Certification application must be received at ASHA by August 31, 2014, in order to be eligible for the Gift to the Grad program; otherwise the rate is the standard membership and certification fee of $511. Postmarked by August 31 is not acceptable.

To receive the conversion:

• 2013 grads must submit ASHA membership and certification application by August 31, 2014.
• 2014 grads have until August 31, 2015, to submit their ASHA membership and certification application. Refer to the Gift to the Grad FAQs for details.
