Students Preparing for Academic and Research Careers (SPARC) Award
A Stepping Stone to Your PhD and Career in Higher Education
The goal of SPARC is to foster students' interest in the pursuit of PhD education in communication sciences and disorders (CSD) and careers in academia. This will further an objective to fill faculty/researcher vacancies in CSD. It allows students to prepare for successful PhD education and exciting careers in academe. Specifically, the SPARC program gives students the opportunity to participate in teaching and research activities under the guidance of a CSD faculty member.
