Share Your Stories Criteria

A Share Your Stories feature or related work must:

Be about an ASHA member
Portray how a member's work makes a significant, positive difference in a person's life
Have unusual or unique story elements
Be suitable for public consumption

ASHA Public Relations, in consultation with other National Office staff, determines whether story ideas/stories are acceptable for publication and use
All stories are reviewed by National Office professional/clinical experts prior to publication or use
As a courtesy, draft copy will be shown to primary subjects before publication or use
Must have signed releases for copy/photos from all subjects
Story subjects must make themselves available for photos
ASHA owns all rights to story/photos and is free to use them as it considers appropriate
