Fran Bridgeburner recently completed a Clinical
Fellowship. Although she graduated with honors just a year
earlier, her work supervisor often finds her interpersonal
skills with other staff members to be inappropriate.
As a member of a multidisciplinary team, Fran often
refuses to compromise on treatment plans and coworkers
characterize her as "difficult." Her supervisor
has counseled her many times during the past year about
this issue, but it has not resolved the problem.
Fran has indicated that she plans to seek employment
elsewhere and has requested a letter of recommendation from
her supervisor. How should her supervisor respond?
