Surveys and Reports 

ASHA's Surveys and Information Team fields two major surveys each year, alternating between four target populations: audiologists, health care-based speech-language pathologists, school-based speech-language pathologists, and a rotating population (e.g. researchers). The purpose of the surveys is to collect and provide baseline data (e.g., employment, caseload, and salary data) on specific segments of the Association membership. Results of the surveys are presented in sets of reports:

ASHA conducted a survey of approximately 3,900 members to gather information about their career and job satisfaction and long term career plans.

The 20-year old ASHA Omnibus Survey, formerly conducted every year or two to obtain current information about issues of interest and concern to members and affiliates, has been retired. Results from the 2003 Omnibus Survey (the last Omnibus Survey taken) are presented in a set of reports:
