More than 30 NSSLHA chapters made contributions totaling $5,450 to the ASHFoundation's 2009 Annual Giving Campaign. Each chapter was entered to win five complimentary ASHA New Orleans Convention registrations. Congratulations to our winner, Old Dominion University. A huge thank you to all contributing NSSLHA chapters.
ASHA Schools Conference Attendees Support Research and Education
Schools conference participants enjoyed a great night out in Kansas City while supporting the research and scholarship programs of the ASHFoundation. Participating restaurants and entertainment venues contributed a portion of conference participants' dinner tabs to the ASHFoundation, raising almost $1,000 to support new research and top-quality education for our professions. A big shout-out to Kansas City's participating restaurants.
ASHF Grants Enhance Research Training
The ASHFoundation supports research travel stipends for five participants to attend ASHA's Lessons for Success Research Conference.
2009 Funding Programs Are Now Closed
Application periods are now closed for all 2009 funding programs. Award recipients will be announced in November.
