You will receive a link to the article and CEU test by e-mail when your registration is complete. This program is offered exclusively in the eLearning classroom.
Early detection of language problems is important, as they influence the overall development of a child. This journal self-study presents a study of scaled language milestones undertaken with Dutch children to provide an instrument for screening language development. A single, unidimensional scale of diverse milestones was developed, tapping lexical, syntactic, and phonological skills, as well as both receptive and expressive language skills.
You will be able to:
- discuss the importance of scaled language milestones
- utilize a unidimensional instrument for screening language development
