ASHA is using a brand new Call for Papers online submission system this year. The new system is intuitive and easy to use, however, we strongly recommend that you carefully read through the Submission Guidelines before submitting your proposal to the Call for Papers. The guidelines outline the steps in the submission process, define terms, and provide explanations of information required to submit a proposal.
Call for Papers Agreement and Disclosure Policy
Before submitting your proposal to the Call for Papers, it is extremely important that you read, understand and agree that you will follow the principles, guidelines, and procedures outlined in the Call for Papers Agreement and Disclosure Policy.
A requirement from ASHA's Continuing Education Board took effect in 2012. Designed to promote transparency in the design, development, and presentation of courses offered for ASHA CEUs, the requirement aligns ASHA with current practices among other professions, particularly in the continuing medical education arena. Anyone submitting a presentation, or listed as an author for a presentation, for consideration at an ASHA event will now be required to complete a disclosure indicating any financial or non-financial relationship related to the content of the proposed session.

Educational programming content at the ASHA Convention covers a wide variety of Topic Areas relevant to the professions. When you submit a proposal to the Call for Papers, you must select the topic from the list of Topic Areas that best corresponds to your presentation. Please note that the Convention Program Committee has the authority to re-categorize a proposal if an appropriate Topic Area is not selected.
Convention Program Committee
The Convention Co-Chairs welcome you to submit a proposal to the Call for Papers. The Co-Chairs lead the Convention Program Committee, which invites speakers, reviews presentation proposal submissions, and helps select the most informative content to be presented during the Convention.
