ASHA's comments included:

  • Support for efforts to increase time for instruction and other activities available to teachers and related service providers to improve educational and functional results for children with disabilities.
  • Recommending that the stakeholders input on the Multi-Year IEPs and paperwork waiver proposals that states obtain, include input from teachers, administrators, related service providers, and parents.
