Quality Indicators for Integration of Clinical Practice and
Research: Program Self-Assessment
A series of quality indicators has been developed to assist
your program in assessing how well clinical practice and research
are integrated. "
Quality Indicators for Integration of Clinical Practice and
Research: Program Self-Assessment" [PDF] was developed as part of the American
Speech-Language-Hearing Association's (ASHA) Focused
Initiative on the PhD Shortage in Higher Education. These
indicators were
created by CSD
faculty
and serve as a companion resource to "Integration of
Clinical Practice and Research: Successful Curriculum
Models", a Web enhanced teleseminar conducted in October
2005 (available free by
contacting ASHA's product sales
and asking for item #0804362). A sample "
Plan of Action" [PDF] is also available to assist faculty in implementing
changes.
Faculty interested in participating in a Pilot Program for the
Quality Indicators for Integration of Clinical Practice and
Research: Program Self-Assessment, please fill out the
