Take responsibility to inform yourself regarding ASHA policy documents and licensure regulations in your state pertaining to the use of support personnel.

Take responsibility to advocate for the appropriate use of assistants in your workplace, e.g., administrators and others in leadership roles in your organization.

Join ASHA's Special Interest Division 11-Administration and Supervision and/or a regional group of clinical educators.

Enroll in workshops on supervision at the state, regional, and national levels.
