ASHA will host a web-enhanced telephone seminar on "Ototoxicity, Audiologic Monitoring, and Otoprotection" on August 2, 2005, 1-3 p.m. Eastern time. The last day to register for the broadcast is 12 noon on July 26. Presenter Kathleen C.M. Campbel, professor and director of audiology research at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, will identify the primary ototoxic agents in common clinical use, with regard to risk factors, patient considerations, primary clinical uses and drug interactions.
