The ASHA Leader Online

  Letters

Kudos for the Quadrilateral Agreement

I was very happy to read in The ASHA Leader (Oct. 19 issue) that the Quadrilateral Mutual Recognition agreement had been signed. I hope all involved in the long, hard work that led up to this special agreement are proud of their participation. We in the professions owe an especially heartfelt thank you to Larry Higdon (ASHA), Lindy McAllister (Speech Pathology Australia), Selene Tash (CASLPA), and  Caroline Fraser (RCSLT), as well as to the members of the negotiating teams, including John Bernthal, Sharon Goldsmith, Sharon Fotheringham, Calum Delaney, Vickie Dawson, and Kath Vidler.

Congratulations to all involved for a job well done!
