Civilian Traumatic Brain Injury: The Other Story

ASHA President Noma AndersonTraumatic brain injury (TBI) has a much higher incidence rate than better known illnesses like breast cancer and AIDS. However, access to care is questionable—results of a new poll of members of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) indicate that the unavailability of insurance coverage is a major hindrance.
