Plan to cover sessions and connect with expert resources at the annual professional and scientific conference of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), the professional, scientific, and credentialing association for more than 123,000 audiologists, speech-language pathologists, and speech, language, and hearing scientists in the U.S. and internationally.
More than 1,500 sessions will highlight the latest research and developments in clinical practices for treating individuals of all ages with speech, language, hearing, and related disorders, such as swallowing and balance.
Additional Convention Highlights:
James Earl Jones, keynote speaker, Thursday, November 16, 6:00 - 7:00 p.m., will address the way in which local, national, and global cultures shape individual lives, how cultures connect, converge, and change, and what happens when they collide.
Vonetta Flowers, 2002 Winter Olympics gold medalist, will be honored on Friday, November 17, 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. with the Annie Glenn Award, presented by Mrs. Annie and Senator John Glenn.
