ASHA-PAC Fundraising Campaign to Begin

If it's February, it must be time for ASHA-PAC's annual fundraising campaign. ASHA-PAC is the political action committee advocating on behalf of speech-language pathologists, audiologists, and speech, language, and hearing researchers. Your financial support of ASHA-PAC makes it possible for us to keep up the fight to repeal the therapy cap, demand direct access to audiology services, and continue the push for full funding for IDEA.

As in past years, phone calls will be made by an outside contractor requesting contributions from ASHA members. Membership Marketing Service (MMS) of Virginia Beach, Virginia will, once again, conduct the campaign. MMS is excluded from the National Do Not Call Registry under the established business relationship provision in the law. However, MMS will honor Do-Not-Call and remove any ASHA member on the list. In addition, ASHA members not on the Do-Not-Call list can request to have their names removed. The ASHA-PAC Board of Directors will routinely monitor selected calls and provide feedback to MMS when necessary.
