Your input is requested to help identify and prioritize issue objectives in the development of ASHA's 2007 Public Policy Agenda. This agenda has been instrumental in focusing our advocacy efforts that have led to a number of victories and advancements for our professions in both the federal and state legislative and regulatory arenas. It is the intention of ASHA's Government Relations & Public Policy (GRPP) Board to develop the Association's 2007 agenda so that it is approved and published by the ASHA annual convention at Miami, Florida in November.
Comments are due before August 11, 2006 and can be submitted either online, by email at PublicPolicy@asha.org or by fax to James Potter at (301) 897-7356. For reference, the 2006 ASHA Public Policy Agenda can be viewed on the ASHA Web site.
