On November 7, you have the opportunity to Let Your Voice Be Heard by voting for persons who will help guide the policies of the local, state and federal governments. On the federal level this year, your U.S. Representative and one third of the U.S. Senate will be up for election.
In order to ensure that you have all the resources that you need to be a part of the American political process, ASHA has created our Get Out the Vote, or GOTV Web site. From the Web site, you can get information on how to:
- register to vote;
- vote absentee if you are not in town on election day;
- volunteer on a campaign if you so choose; and
- work the polls.
For further information or questions, please call Stefanie Reeves, ASHA's Director of Political Advocacy, or via e-mail at sreeves@asha.org or by phone at 800-498-2071, ext. 4452, or Deborah Darcy, ASHA's Director of Grassroots Advocacy, via e-mail at ddarcy@asha.org or by phone at 800-498-2071, ext. 4427.
