Professional Bio
Lisa Abbott Moore, MS, CCC-SLP, has been a certified speech-language pathologist for 15 years. She has worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, nursing homes, the home health setting, and with adolescents in a school setting. Lisa is an active member of the SVMC Research Council and this past year presented research on myofascial release at the ASHA Convention. Her specialties include dysphagia, adolescent language, pragmatic language, and the use of visual arts to enhance language skills. Lisa is a member of the Vermont Speech and Hearing Association and presently serves as the Public Relations Chairperson on the Executive Board. Lisa has a strong interest in advocacy and serves on the 2008 Audiology Advisory Council.
