Professional Bio
As a ASHA Legislative Councilor for the 2003-2005 and 2006-2007 terms, I experienced the impact that each professional can have on the dialogues and decisions generated at the national level. Within my role as Delegation Correspondent for the New York Legislative Councilors, I was able to develop and implement on-line communications and public-awareness articles for the purpose of increasing member involvement in national and state-wide professional issues. With over 35 years of experience in school-based, university and private practice settings, I would be honored to continue my volunteer work for New York on the SLPAC.
