Professional Bio

Dr. Trevor Courouleau is an Audiologist currently practicing at the Oklahoma City VA Medical Center. In addition, Dr. Courouleau serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Audiology for the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. He has worked with various national and regional interdisciplinary teaming programs such as Focus on the Frontline and LEND. Dr. Courouleau functions as a clinical supervisor for 4th year AuD trainees. He is a recipient of the William F. Austin Starkey Hearing Foundation Award and has previously worked with patients in cochlear implant, vestibular, and private practice settings. An active member of ASHA, OSHA, and the Association of VA Audiologists, Dr. Courouleau is dedicated to helping patients with hearing loss achieve successful outcomes.

Professional Bio

I am a native Oklahoman and completed most of my education in my home state. I attended Oklahoma State University, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. I then attended the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Audiology. For twenty-three years, I worked as a clinical audiologist in Oklahoma, Virginia, and Ohio. I currently work as a clinical assistant professor at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in the Doctor of Audiology program. In 2006, I earned the Doctor of Audiology degree from PCO School of Audiology. I currently manage audiologic patient care for cochlear implant patients seen through the university speech and hearing clinic as well as supervise Audiology doctoral students.
