The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association has presented numerous awards over the last 70 years to recognize the contributions of individuals and groups to the professions of speech-language pathology, audiology, and speech and hearing science.
The Honors of the Association and Fellowship in the Association are the highest honors awarded by ASHA. Recipients of these awards are honored each year at a ceremony at the Annual Convention.

Other Awards of the Association
The Distinguished Service Award recognizes significant contributions to the field of speech-language pathology and/or audiology by non-members.
The Dorothy Dreyer Award for Volunteerism acknowledges extraordinary efforts by members who volunteer their time and other resources to ASHA.
The Certificate of Recognition for Special Contributions in Higher Education recognizes distinguished achievement and/or contributions (within the last five years) in one or more of the following areas: university and college classroom teaching; clinical teaching; student mentoring, or development of new and innovative educational techniques and technologies in the fields of audiology, speech-language pathology, or speech, language and hearing science.
The Early Career Contributions in Research Award recognizes scientific accomplishments by individuals in the early stages of their careers (defined as within five years of receiving the doctoral degree or other terminal degree).
