How to Find and Download 2002 ASHA Convention Handouts

1. Go to the Convention Program Online
   
   
2. Login and click "Search Abstracts Online."
   NOTE:  this is a different system than the ASHA Web site, so your registration and login may be different, and that you may need to create a new account on this system if you have not yet done so.
   
   
3. Search for the session/paper you are interested in. A quick way to do this, if you know the session number, is to click "Advanced Search," click the drop down box where it says "Select Alternate ID type" and select "Session Number," enter the session number in the white box just to the right of "Session Number," the click "Search for Abstracts."
   
   
4. Display that session/paper by clicking on the abstract title. Clicking on the abstract title will open a new window.
   
   
5. Scroll down--the handout/file attachment is near the bottom of the display just above the learner outcomes. You can either view the handout online (by clicking on the file name) or right-click (Mac users click-and-hold) on the file name to bring up the dialog box to save the file to your own hard drive.

If it says "no file attached" there are no handouts for that session as of yet. Presenters are still sending in handouts and they are being placed online as quickly as possible after receipt.
