Description: This is a review of randomized controlled trials and controlled trials which are included in two previously published systematic reviews regarding the effect of reality orientation interventions on behavioral outcomes for individuals with dementia. Of particular interest to SLPs is the findings from one systematic review focusing on use of reality orientation to improve cognitive domains.
