This consensus-based guideline provides recommendations for the treatment of patients with tuberculosis. Several different types of drug treatments are recommended. Recommendations regarding risks of ototoxicity from select treatments are discussed.


It recommends that an audiogram and vestibular testing be performed at baseline and then be repeated if there are any signs of eighth nerve toxicity.
