ASHFoundation programs would not be possible without the generous tax-deductible contributions of individuals, corporations, and organizations. Size and quantity of funded awards are dependent on fundraising results and may vary accordingly. Meet the generous donors who make our programs possible.
We welcome your applications for any of our funding programs. Annual funding deadlines are announced in the first quarter of each year.
ASHFoundation funding guidelines are available to download from our Web site. Please note these are PDF documents and will require Adobe Acrobat Reader to view, which is available for free at Adobe's Web site.
Research Grants We support priority research in communication sciences and disorders, which leads to advances in treatment and new developments, such as the use of technology in assessment and intervention. ASHFoundation grants help launch research careers and are often instrumental in securing additional funding from other sources for continued research efforts. All 2009 research grant competitions are now closed.
Graduate Student Scholarships The ASHFoundation nurtures the best and brightest students in the discipline. These students will eventually pursue careers in clinics, schools, research labs, higher education, and private practice, ensuring continued excellence in the field. Clinical Achievement Awards The ASHFoundation recognizes that outstanding clinical achievement will lead to innovation in science and practice, and we support the work of clinicians who excel. All 2009 clinical achievement recognition program competitions are now closed.
Special Initiatives The ASHFoundation also funds special initiatives and projects. We often partner with corporations to develop or improve a new device, treatment program, or technology.
