Employment Issues in Long-Term Care: Productivity, Ethics, and Fraud
December 12, 2013
7:00 p.m.–8:30 p.m. ET
SLPs in long-term care have expressed the need to dialogue with ASHA about employment pressures, such as high productivity requirements, having to work off the clock, and potential ethical conflicts in service delivery. This web chat is an opportunity for SLPs to describe situations of concern and engage in problem solving with ASHA staff about potential actions and resources that could be of assistance.
- Janet Brown, MA, CCC-SLP, Director, Health Care Services in SLP (ASHA)
- Heather Bupp, Esq., Director of Ethics (ASHA)
- Mark Kander, Director, Healthcare Regulatory Analysis (ASHA)
This free event is open to all ASHA members (it is not offered for CEUs).
