Certification Maintenance Frequently Asked Questions: ASHA CE Registry
What are the benefits of using the ASHA CE Registry program to meet the certification maintenance requirement?
There are many benefits of using the CE Registry, especially that your Compliance Form will automatically be submitted on your behalf once you have accumulated 30 CMHs (3 CEUs) within your 3-year interval. Another benefit of using the ASHA CE Registry program to maintain your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is that you will not have to provide documentation of your activities. If you are randomly selected for a maintenance audit, you will not be required to report your activities or to submit verification of participation for your activities—your ASHA CE Registry transcript will be your verification of participation.
Once you are a member of the CE Registry, you can easily find out what courses are on your transcript and how many ASHA CEUs you have earned by either logging into "My Account" on any page of the ASHA website or by visiting the ASHA CE homepage and selecting "What's on my ASHA CE Registry transcript."
Is participation in the CE Registry mandatory to meet the certification maintenance requirement?
No, participation is not mandatory.
Is there a fee to participate in the CE Registry?
Yes. The annual CE Registry fee is $25 for members and $35 for non-members.
