How to Calculate ASHA CEUs

Use the CEU Calculation Worksheet [XLS] to determine the ASHA CEUs for the course's educational content. The number of contact minutes should be totaled on the basis of a pilot study and/or time-ordered agenda, excluding breaks, meals, and other non-educational events. The total number of minutes is divided by 60 to arrive at the number of contact hours. Total contact hours, rounded down to the nearest ½ hour should be divided by 10 to obtain the ASHA CEU amount. See chart below for a easy guide to calculations.
