ASHA Offers Stipend for State Associations Student Advocacy Initiatives

Eligibility

A onetime stipend of $1,000 is available to state associations interested in developing/increasing student participation in State Advocacy Day activities.

Awards

Stipends will be awarded to a maximum of five state associations based on the application, budget allocation information, and agreement signature by the state association president. Results of the review team will be final. All funds are to be expended for advocacy day activities conducted in 2012 and projects will not be considered finished until the ASHA Student Lobby Activites Final Report and Expenses Form (including receipts) are completed and submitted to ASHA. These reports and receipts are due within 60 days of the completion of your advocacy event(s) or December 1, 2012, whichever comes first.
