CAA Site Visitor Recruitment

The Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) is currently seeking applications from qualified individuals to serve as site visitors to graduate education programs in audiology and speech-language pathology. The next terms start July 1, 2015.

New Site Visitor Category Added for 2015

A new site visitor category—clinical faculty—has been added for clinical educators who are part of the graduate programs to ensure their representation in CAA's pool of site visitors. The qualifications for each of the three categories listed below are described in the CAA Site Visit Manual

  • Academic Faculty 
  • Clinical Faculty 
  • Practitioner

If you are someone who meets the eligibility criteria as outlined in the CAA Site Visit Manual for any of the categories and are interested in promoting quality academic programs, please submit an application online to become a CAA site visitor. Also, you are encouraged to forward this information along to anyone you think may be interested in serving in this capacity—including academic faculty members, clinical faculty members, and practitioners in your community. 

Application Process and Notification 

Read more about the details to qualify and apply for this exciting volunteer opportunity with the CAA. Applications must be submitted online no later than December 15, 2014.

Notifications will be made to all applicants in March 2015. Individuals selected during this recruitment will be trained at a 2-day workshop during summer 2015 at the ASHA National Office in Rockville, Maryland. Expenses associated with attendance at this training session and for all site visits (e.g., air travel, lodging, food, and ground transportation) are covered by the Association.
