How to Apply for CAA Accreditation
The Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and
Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) accreditation program is open to
graduate education programs that offer (or are developing)
- a master's degree program in speech-language pathology,
or
- a clinical doctoral program in audiology.
Programs interested in becoming accredited by CAA or designated
as a candidate for accreditation (for new or developing programs)
should consult the staff in the Accreditation Office at
accreditation@asha.org
to discuss eligibility, the review process, timelines, and related
fees. All CAA reviews and decisions are based on the program's
compliance with the CAA's Standards for Accreditation.
