The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) has been named the 6th most exceptional business in Maryland.
ASHA received its award at a dinner last night hosted by The Gazette of Politics and Business. The Gazette's "Exceptional 53" program acknowledges businesses in the state of Maryland for their innovation, community service, and "great place to work" attributes.
"It's quite an honor to be among the top 10 exceptional and innovative businesses in Maryland as well as recognized for the fourth straight year," ASHA Executive Director Arlene Pietranton, PhD, CAE, says. "Congratulations to our fellow award recipients. This recognition will motivate us to continue to do our best."
ASHA was recognized for its strong and active commitment to social responsibility and community outreach, employee satisfaction, the Association's wellness program, and continuing efforts to evolve and improve programs and services.
